Insolvency Search

Overview

Navigate to the Ministry of Law’s Insolvency Office e-Services to conduct insolvency searches to verify the statuses of individuals quickly from your Loop.

This is included as part of Quick Links, an LTP Pro feature. Please contact your Customer Success Representative for help.

Details

• Scrolling to the Quick Links section of your LTP Loop, the Ministry of Law’s Insolvency Office e-Services will be available next to other Quick Links such as eLitigation and LawNet. 

• Click on the card, this will direct you to the Ministry of Law's Insolvency Office e-Services. 

• In the Contact Details page, users can receive the search results in the following ways:

Option 1 - Add the relevant LTP Matter email address (for e.g., [e-mail]) in the Email Address field to receive the search results in the LTP Matter Channel. (Here is information on how to receive emails in your LTP Matter Channel.)

Option 2 - Add your individual work email address to receive the search results in your email Inbox, and forward the search results into the LTP Matter Channel for record keeping.

• If LTP users opt for Option 1 in the previous step, the search results will be received as an email in the relevant Matter Channel, with the Search results enclosed as a PDF attachment as shown.

  

[Note: For Users who utilize the LTP matter email address i.e. Option 1 above to receive the search results, it is highly recommended that you also download and keep an additional copy of the search results on your local machine should you need to access it in the future (for e.g. if the user loses access to the matter they had sent the results to).
