Previously, Due Dates for newly created Tasks would default to today's date.
Following consistent customer feedback, we made a deliberate design decision to leave the Due Date columns blank, since most users are setting up tasks to be completed later on.
As a temporary workaround, if you want newly created Tasks to default to today's date for the Due Date, you can set the default date as today's date in the Due Date column settings, as shown below:
We've received a few requests to consider adding an option to default to today's date for all newly created Tasks.
