The global Calendar view in Lupl also supports the ability to sync due dates, Key Dates, and other deadlines from Lupl to your Outlook calendar.
This is particularly useful if you wish to receive Outlook reminders as these deadlines come up.
How do Lupl's dates show up in my calendar?
Lupl dates will show up on your calendar with the following characteristics:
- All-Day Events (as dates in Lupl don't account for specific times yet);
- Show as "Free" (since the aim is to send you reminders without blocking your availability); and
- A lock icon, since users can't edit these dates directly from Outlook. You'll need to amend these dates or entries from within Lupl, and these changes will sync to your Outlook automatically.
Does the global Calendar’s Outlook Sync functionality require giving access to my calendar?
Yes. We need access to your Outlook Calendar to sync dates from Lupl to your Outlook. Without permissions to write to your calendar, you won't be able to see your Lupl dates in your calendar.
Does it read existing entries in my calendar?
Absolutely not! This is a one-way sync that requires write permissions only as it relates to your calendar. We don't need to see what's on your calendar to sync dates from Lupl to your Outlook.
What if I want to remove Lupl dates from the calendar?
If you want to amend what gets synced to your Outlook, or if you wish to remove the calendar sync entirely, you can change this from the Calendar Sync menu. When you select "Stop Syncing", we remove all Lupl dates from your Outlook Calendar.
